A Space Designed for Comfort, Activity and Support
Our base at Stanley Villas in Colne has been thoughtfully set up to provide a safe, welcoming and flexible environment for everyone who attends.
Each space within the building is used to support a wide range of activities, from creative sessions and social time to practical life skills and quieter moments when needed.
Ground Floor
Stanley Room
The Stanley Room is our main activity space and one of the largest rooms in the building.
This is where many of our daily activities take place, including group sessions, social activities and larger events. It’s a bright and welcoming space designed to bring people together.
Catlow Room
The Catlow Room is a medium-sized space used for a variety of activities, particularly arts and crafts sessions.
It provides a more focused environment where people can get creative and take part in hands-on activities.
Pickles Room
The Pickles Room is another versatile, medium-sized room used throughout the day for different activities.
It offers a flexible space that can be adapted to suit a range of sessions, depending on the needs and interests of the people attending.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is a key part of the service and is used regularly for cooking and baking sessions.
With multiple cooking stations, it allows people to get involved in preparing food while developing important life skills in a supportive environment.
We also have a washing machine and tumble dryer, which are used to support individuals in learning everyday living skills such as laundry and household tasks.
Changing Places Facility
We have a fully equipped Changing Places facility, designed to support individuals with a wide range of needs.
This includes:
- Height-adjustable adult-sized changing bench
- Ceiling hoist system
- Peninsular toilet
- Height-adjustable washbasin
- Accessible shower
- Slip-resistant flooring
- Emergency alarm system
- Privacy screen
- Adequate space for safe and comfortable use
This facility ensures dignity, comfort and accessibility for those who require additional support.
First Floor
Pendle Room
The Pendle Room is a large recreational space where people can relax and enjoy a range of activities.
This includes a pool table, air hockey and other games, making it a great space for socialising and unwinding.
Meeting Room
Our meeting room provides a quieter space suitable for small group sessions, discussions and one-to-one support.
It comfortably accommodates around 12–15 people and is used for a variety of purposes.
Sensory Room (Coming Soon)
We are currently developing a dedicated sensory room to provide a calm and supportive space.
This area will be designed to support relaxation, sensory engagement and wellbeing.
Puffin Room
The Puffin Room is a medium-sized space used for quieter activities and downtime.
It offers a calm environment for those who may need a break from busier sessions or prefer a more relaxed setting.
