How We Support

At Enable U2, everything we do is built around the individual.

We provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where people are encouraged to develop skills, build confidence and take part in meaningful activities at their own pace.

Our approach is always person-centred, ensuring that each individual receives the right level of support to suit their needs, abilities and goals.

A Person-Centred Approach

We take the time to get to know each person properly.
By working closely with individuals, families and carers, we create personalised support plans that reflect:
  • Personal goals and aspirations
  • Interests and hobbies
  • Support needs and abilities
  • Daily routines and preferences
This allows us to provide support that is flexible, respectful and truly tailored to each individual.

Supporting Independence

A key part of what we do is helping people build confidence and independence in everyday life.
We support individuals to:
  • Develop practical life skills
  • Make choices and express preferences
  • Take part in community activities
  • Build social connections
  • Grow in confidence
Our aim is to encourage independence in a safe and supported way, helping each person reach their full potential.

Support in a Safe and Structured Environment

Our base at Stanley Villas provides a comfortable and secure space where people can feel at ease.
We offer:
  • Structured daily activities
  • Dedicated spaces for different needs and sessions
  • Opportunities for both group and one-to-one support
  • A calm and supportive atmosphere
We also have access to a fully equipped, accessible wet room, supporting dignity, comfort and personal care where needed.

Trained and Experienced Staff

Our team plays a vital role in the quality of support we provide.

All staff are carefully selected and receive professional training to ensure they can support individuals safely, confidently and with compassion.

Training includes:

  • Safeguarding
  • First Aid
  • Medication administration
  • Manual handling
  • Health and safety
  • Autism awareness
  • Behaviour support
We also ensure all staff are DBS checked and receive ongoing training and development to maintain high standards.

Part of a Trusted Care Network

Enable U2 works alongside our sister organisation, Pendle Support, an established care provider supporting people across East Lancashire since 2005.
This connection helps ensure we maintain high standards of care, professionalism and safeguarding at all times.
